CASSANDRA SWITALSKI – EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In University, Cassandra studied Kinesiology with an emphasis on fitness and wellness. As such, she has always been a firm believer that being active is an important part of being healthy and happy. She also grew up with siblings with special needs, and as a result is acutely aware of the additional hurdles that someone with physical, mental or health challenges may have to face to be able to participate in typical sport and recreational activities. She was raised in a household where inclusion was the automatic standard, even as her family lived and ventured around Europe for several years. Everyone in the family was always included in every opportunity that was presented. Today, she is pleased to be involved with an organization that welcomes all individuals, regardless of any challenges or limitations, and gets them out to play, interact, be active, feel included, experience success, and have fun.

Her previous work experience includes fitness coaching, respite care, teaching English abroad in Asia, and being Miracle League’s previous Program Director for four years. In 2016, she had the great honor of becoming the organization’s Executive Director and is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to grow, learn, and direct an organization with a mission that she so strongly believes in.
