I got involved with MLAZ through three friends: Lee Klein, Harmon Killebrew and Dan Haren Sr over 10 years ago. I coached with Lee and pitched on Tuesdays for the Cubs. It was such a great experience to see the smiles on the athletes faces when they hit the ball. Before I knew it I was pitching on Tuesdays and Saturdays and announcing on Wednesday.  I was a board member for about 3 years, then I became the Director of Facilities for the stadium. I still pitch and announce and love every minute of it.
