What We Do

With the support of many community partners, the Miracle League of Arizona is able to offer a safe and successful baseball experience for children, teens and adults with disabilities or special health care needs. Our players can start at the age of five and participate well into adulthood.

There are 24 different teams for the various age and skill levels, including a competitive division for more advanced players.

In addition to an accessible field and stadium, we have constructed an adaptive playground, picnic area and batting cages on site to enhance the family experience. The stadium includes accessible restrooms and three caregiver restrooms, complete with showers.

The real key to the success of the Miracle League of Arizona is our family of wonderfully generous volunteers. Coaches and “buddies” (one-on-one helpers and friends) provide safety, structure, friendship and encouragement.  Some players require hand-over-hand help, while others need nothing more than a few high fives and an “attaboy”.

We try to eliminate the barriers that prevent individuals from playing baseball, wash away stigmas and emphasize inclusion. Miracles really do happen every week at the Miracle League of Arizona.

We serve not only individuals with special needs but also their families. Our community of players, families, and volunteers work together toward a common mission: to allow individuals of all abilities the chance to learn and play the great game of baseball.
