Rookie year – 2008

Hometown – San Diego, CA

Favorite MLB Team – San Diego Padres

Kyle was born & raised in San Diego, where he played football, basketball, and baseball. During his sophomore year of high school, The Miracle League of San Diego was founded. Kyle’s JV baseball team volunteered during the inaugural season, and Kyle fell in love with the concept, community, and organization as a whole. After that initial season, Kyle continued to volunteer, and eventually he and his dad began coaching a team while his mom and two brothers volunteered as buddies. During college, Kyle continued to stay involved as a Miracle League board member while continuing his baseball endeavors. After injury ended his baseball playing days, he got involved in collegiate athletics at San Diego State University where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree. After graduation Kyle spent a few years in Northern California where he obtained a Masters degree in Sport Management while working for multiple sports organizations including the Golden State Warriors, University of California, Berkeley athletics, and the Pac-12 Conference.

Kyle eventually made his way back down to San Diego where he became Executive Program Director for The Miracle League of San Diego. During his tenure he oversaw the opening of a second field location, expanded the league, and aided in the fostering of new community partnerships. Kyle moved to Arizona two years ago, and could not be happier to be rejoining Miracle League through MLAZ.
